Frugal - Nina is quite a Frugal person, if she spent money on it she doesn't want to waste it! Her house is always cluttered with random odds and ends and old potions made from way back then, she just refuses to let things go to 'waste' so she'll keep them for years until she finds a purpose. This also means she's always on the lookout for a good deal or bargain - good luck trying to scam her out of her money cause' she won't bite.
Independent - Nina grew up raising herself, her dad died defending the town against those who lurk in the dark and her mom died during Childbirth. Nina's only living relative is her grandmother: Founder of the town Ms. Abbie Lace. But since Ms lace was always busy running the town on her own she had little to no time available to raise her granddaughter.
Stubborn - Once Nina strongly believes in something, it's hard to get her to think differently on it.
Daring - Nina enjoys a good thrill, she tends to test how long she can stay out after dark before running into trouble and is always trying out new and extreme potions that just may blow her up someday.
Witty - Nina is quite smart and good at comebacks, She's also good at coming up with plans on the spot when in danger.

Nina Cromwell was born and raised in Rumpleton, well one wouldn't exactly be able to say raised. Both of Nina's parents passed away when she was just a child, with her only living family member being the founder of the village, Nina was often left to 'fend for herself'. As a child, Nina would often play outside by herself digging in the dirt making mud pies or climbing trees and thought the 'go inside after dark' rule was quite silly... but she was just a foolish child back then. As she grew older she found her passion for potion making. She always knew she was a witch (a trait inherited from her father) but never really took interest until she was around 15 years old. Ever since then Nina hasn't been able to go a day without creating or reading about some sort of potion.
When Nina was 16 she decided to defy the town's biggest rule, and stayed out after dark. The experience was so horrendous that for days on end she wouldn't even be able to look out the window... in fear that they would be watching her. Ever since then she has respected the rule.
A few years later Nina decided to join the Healer profession, finally she could prove to her grandmother that she could do something on her own, and she didn't need Ms. Lace's money to survive anymore.
